Riot simulation game for PC

Riot Operator is a premium simulation title for PC by developer Beta 2 Games. In this police simulator game, players will manage a police squad that specializes in riots. They need to properly utilize their resources to minimize the spread of chaos and damage that are often caused by said events.

Similar to Prison Architect, Riot Operator is all about keeping peace and order. Given the unpredictable nature of a riot, it will test how players react and adapt to various situations. It will determine whether a simple social gathering could escalate to a disruptive and chaotic riot or not.

Is it any good?

A protest is the social and public expression of objection or disapproval towards an idea or action. It enables people to exercise their right to freedom of speech for a chance to be heard. However, these things can easily turn into a dangerous and disruptive riot. Riot Operator is a simulation that shows what would happen if such an event does occur, and how it can be suppressed.

Through this app you’ll manage a police squad specializing in riot suppression, and it's your job to protect the peace as best you can. You'll have armored anti-riot personnel and vehicles at your disposal. It's up to you to properly utilize and take full advantage of your resources to come up with the best course of action that can end outbreaks of violence as swiftly as possible.

What's more, rioters will also come armed to the fight with rocks, Molotov cocktails, and other makeshift weapons. You will need to factor in these types of threats in your strategy. As of this writing, though, there's no official word on when the game will actually come out. For now, you can visit its official Steam page and wishlist it to stay updated with the latest news and developments.

Act fast before dissent turns into chaos

Riot Operator is a unique game that is worth checking out in and of itself. Not a lot of simulation titles have delved into the idea of riots, and based on initial previews, it will be an interesting one to keep an eye out for. If you're looking for a fast-paced game that could test your quick thinking and decision-making skills out, this might just be it.

Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
